Pregnancy Yoga Classes
Designed to support the changing needs of your body and mind throughout each trimester of pregnancy, prepare you for birth and to continue to support you into parenthood.
Each session starts with a settling in, and moves mindfully into intuitive, functional movement, simple pranayama (breath work), guided meditation, and deep relaxation.
I hope you'll leave feeling empowered, present, and relaxed.
No previous experience is required, pregnancy is a perfect time to begin practicing yoga, and it’s never too late to begin. There will be lots of options for movements, including on the floor or in a chair, to suit how you’re feeling that day.
After each 70 min class, there is an optional 20 mins to stay and have a catch-up. This is an invaluable opportunity to be a part of friendly, supportive, non-judgemental community of local parents-to-be. Many of which become lasting friendships.
You can also join the our WhatsApp group, for class updates, chats, and to receive additional resources.

It’s never too late or too early to benefit from yogic practices.
First trimester can be the most intense period as your body goes through rapid changes, so it can be a good time to give yourself permission to focus on rest. Many start in their second trimester.
If you’re wanting to move and be with others before 12 weeks, do get in touch and we can discuss which practices might be most nourishing for you, so you can adapt accordingly. -
The class addresses management and prevention of common pregnancy conditions, such as pelvic pain, anxiety, lower back discomfort.
However, I am not a physio so won’t be able to diagnose or give medical advice. We can work together on ways to practice around a specific injury or condition. We always a have a big range of symptoms going on in the room at anyone time, so you won’t be alone.

This is a friendly and informal circle, where we (re)introduce ourselves and have the opportunity to share something from our week or our pregnancy, but only if you want to.
It’s a chance to hear similar and different plans and experiences, check-in with ourselves and each other, and be supportive if someone in the group needs it.
It’s a non-judgemental space, you’re welcome to turn up just as you are.
Hannah creates a wonderful and restorative space for her pregnancy and post-natal classes. Each class has been so thoughtfully designed and is a great way to meet other mums! The setting is also beautiful, overlooking Downhills Park.

Hannah's yoga classes have been a grounding force in my pregnancy. Having lost my last daughter at 23 weeks I'd found other classes triggering, but I explained my circumstances to Hannah and she was kind and understanding from the get-go.
Hannah has a really good understanding of the body and physiology of birth so every week I felt like I got more ‘tools’ for labour. There was also a mix of relaxation and a great community and chat afterwards. In the group there was a mix of people planning for births including planned C-sections and home births - no ‘one way’ was pushed on us: It was a welcoming and inclusive space.
I’m so grateful for Hannah's classes and will miss them now my daughter is due any day !
